Hi, I’m Marni. I’m a long-time shelter volunteer (since 1999), pet rescuer, and dog foster parent who is background-checked, professionally insured, and a member of Pet Sitters International.

My husband and I have always had a house full of critters and creatures that included our own cats and dogs, foster pets, and baby rabbits, squirrels, and birds who are just seeking shelter. 

Whether it’s piling eight puppies into my SUV and racing away from their Kinston County shelter as Hurricane Matthew bore down on us, or jumping into voluntary pet visits for elderly neighbors while they’re in the hospital, I’m all in when it comes to creatures great and small.
